Fun in the Summer Sun!!

He is so Relaxed...aaahhh

Look how happy she is :)

At the Scera Pool

Out back in Aunt Danielle's yard

This summer we have been doing alot of swimming whether it is just out in the yard in the kiddie pool or going to 7 Peaks and the Scera Pool. This year Coby just loves the water, he goes underwater and swims everywhere on his tummy and even his back sometimes. At 7 Peaks he loves the Wave Pool and just keeps wanting to go deeper and deeper, he has no fear. As for Jaycie she loves the water too but she'd rather just sit in it and take on the splashes and waves as they come to her, she has fallen underwater a few times but she just shakes it off and moves on, she never cries. I guess i have a pair of little water babies! Not to mention how blasted Tan they are too, they definitely have their daddy's complexion. I have really enjoyed being out in the sun as well, there is something about it that just makes you happy no matter what and I've been dealing with a lot lately so it has definitely been Sun Therapy. I hope we have a few more months of this weather because i am not quite ready for a change.

Jaycie turns "1"

About a few month ago, we celebrated Jaycie's 1st Birthday. Since her cousin Zyanne turned 2 5 days earlier we decided to combine the two and have one big Birthday Luau! We had it at my parents house and it was a blast. Me and Danielle spent the whole week preparing for the party by finding cute decorations......at the dollar store and figuring out a menu! We decided on Pulled Pork sandwiches. We bought the meat at a place in Springville for a really good price and it was sooo tasty! Everyone loved it! We also had fresh fruit Kabobs with chocolate drizzled over them, and this yummy Mango Salsa that Haley made with tortilla chips. For dessert we had cute little cupcakes with little Palm Trees sticking out from the top of them. My cousin Lindsay made both Zy Zy's and Jayce's Cake they were was sooo cute. We bought a lei from Partyland and used the flowers on the cakes it turned out perfect. We provided lei's for everyone a couple of grass skirts for the little ladies and big straw hats for the men. Everyone participated in wearing something Luau. We had the party outside and had a little pool set up with a slide for the really little ones and a slip n slide for the bigger kids. Everyone was really having a great time, we even had a friend show up ready to party in his little black Speedo, it was hilarious. He almost scared my in laws away but luckily they are used to him and were able to fight through it:) We just hung out and ate and watched the kids go nuts in the water. Jacoby and Jaycie were so cute they were playing on the slip n slide and Jayce kept face planting it into the water but she was okay she loved it. When it was time for cake we put a blanket down on the grass and brought the cakes to the girls. We sang them Happy Birthday and Zy blew out her candle while Coby had to do it for Sissy (We forgot to practice with her) I put the cake in between Jayce's leg and she went crazy and just dug right in to that thing like there was no tomorrow. It was hilarious, and she didn't stop for about 20 minutes, she thought that was the best thing she has ever tasted, i got some really great pictures of it. After she was done and her cake was a mess she started on Zy Zy's, she just couldn't get enough it was all over her face and even up her nose i had to clean it out a few times because she would start whining but then she would just keep on going. I had to make Coby dig into his cake last year so this was a real treat for me, she was all about it. After cleaning her up we decided to open presents. Tom and I bought her her first baby. For the past couple of weeks she has been stealing Zy's so she could cuddle with it so we knew it was the perfect gift and we were right she loved it. Her face was priceless. Tom quickly opened it up for her and she had it in her arms the rest of the night. Even now she loves to push her in the doll stroller and feed her, it is so fun to watch, she is such a little mommy herself. The Luau was a hit and we are so thankful to everyone that came. Sean and Haley, Po and Lo, Kenton and Cassie, Gavin, and Anya, Pou, Jessica, and Issac, Jake and Dan of course, Grammie and Grampa, Amma and Papa, and the Archundes. Thank you all your the best friends and family a girl could have!

I cannot believe my little girl is now 1 years old. She is walking all over the place and even says Up, Out, Mama, and Ow. She is learning something new everyday and i am really looking forward to getting her pictures taken. Happy Birthday CeCe!!

Jacoby's 2 year old Pictures

I finally got the pictures back from Jacoby's 2 year photo shoot back in April! My amazing and talented Cousin Lindsey Smith and her sister in law/Friend Becky Smith took these pictures. We did them at an old house that was vacant on the old highway in springville. They turned out so great and Coby was an angel, he loved all the attention and the paparazzi ;) They took about 200 photos between the 2 of them and they are all amazing but too many to post so here are a few of the ones that i instantly fell in love with.

Rash, Runny nose, cough, etc.

So it has been a couple of weeks since i have had an update and up until a few days ago there wasn't anything that has changed since my Stupid Pityriasis Rosea. Last Wednesday i lost my voice, no idea how or why maybe yelling at my kids too much lol but it was really annoying. By the weekend i couldn't laugh and when i talked i sounded like a little boy hitting puberty it was so obnoxious. Well Saturday rolled along and i started coughing, thinking it was just the voice thing but then by Sunday i felt horrible. Sore throat, Runny nose, Cough, Body aches, and my head felt like a boulder!!! Both my kids have been coughing and have had the runny nose thing too for the past week so i figured i was just getting what they have. I stayed home from church with the kids while Tom went to church, he said he was actually able to pay attention and go all 3 hours without any problems....hahaha i wonder why! As the week went on i was feeling better one day then worse the next. The greatest thing that happened this week was Monday morning i woke up and my rash has almost completely gone away...just like that, i was thrilled! I was so worried that i would have this all Summer!!! That definitely lightened my spirit, although Thursday was a hard day for me, i woke up feeling horrible Sore throat again and my head was throbbing not to mention the fact that my body hurt all over. I spent the whole day waiting on my kids to take their naps so i could get some rest as well. My luck, the day that i do want to sleep when they do, they only sleep for 45 minutes when they usually sleep 2 hours!! I was not happy. Tom tried to come home early from work but couldn't because of his busy schedule. Who knew that a Marine Recruiter would be so busy. Anyway, the second he got home i jumped in the shower then went straight to bed, even before my kids. Tom was great and got them to bed on his own. Needless to say i got a great sleep especially since i was dosed up on Theraflu. (I love that stuff) This morning i woke up and i feel a ton better. I am still coughing but no aches or sore throat to deal with thank goodness. I have alot to do today to get ready for my sister and her family who are coming to visit from England tomorrow, i am really excited to see them but also stressed to get things done. Well there is my update on the last couple of weeks. I have some more stuff to share but waiting till i have pictures to post so stay tuned!!

STUPID PITYRIASIS ROSEA

So for the past 3 weeks i have had this weird scaly pink patch on my chest. I thought it was a bite of some kind and thinking it would just go away in a few days i never worried about it. Well 3 weeks later i wake up with little red bumps on my stomach so instantly i think i have been bitten by something and instantly washed my sheets. Well yesterday i woke up to a million red bumps all over my stomach, upper thighs, back, and neck!!! I freaked out! Since the patch of skin was still there i knew it had something to do with it, so where do we all go when we have serious questions or concerns??? Yep the INTERNET, i looked up a bunch of photos of different rashes and found one that looked exactly like the one i had, it was called Pityriasis Rosea. I was pretty confident that this is what i had but i wanted to be sure so i wouldn't stress myself out wondering. Today i went to see the Dr. I told him everything and showed him the damage and guess what he tells me....."Um, Shannon i know exactly what this is, it is good and bad....the good news is it is Benign but the bad news is it can last up to 3 months!" "It is called Pityriasis Rosea". YES! I was right...but wait, What?? 3 months? Turns out that this is pretty common but they don't know what causes it or have anything to treat it. I can use ointment or a antihistimine for the itching but it has to go away on its own. The good news is it isn't contagious, thank goodness for that or else we would be dealing with a lot more problems! So here i am with an annoying rash that i can't do anything about, i just sure hope it doesn't last that long...freak it is going to be SUMMER soon!!!!

Pics, Pics, Pics

Mommy and Daughter, oh how i love her!!!

Coby and Jayce playing dress up. They put these hats on all by themselves and had them on for a good while. They are so silly together, it is getting so much fun, their ages are a blast!!!

Coby fell asleep on our kitchen table bench, apparently he was worn out due to having his cousin Zy over to play. Funny thing is, i have a picture of me on a piano bench asleep when i was like 4. It must be the Booth in us we can sleep anywhere.

Pics and an Update

So the past couple of weeks have been interesting. 2 weeks ago i went to the Women's Expo and experienced my first Airbrush Tan. The lady talked me and Dree into it, (It didn't take much). We both came out a lot darker and i looked like i was from Mexico to say the least! It was scary at first but totally hilarious....my chest was BLACK! Fortunately after i took a shower it looked tons better and more natural, for the first time in 2 years i was tan again. (that's what happens when your prego all the time lol) Anyway, i talked my cousin and friend into it and they went and got it the next day, they had the same results. We realized the tan is better the day after you get it:) I would definitely make this my tanning regimen, it was well worth the 20.00, and i plan on doing it again soon. Sunday was such a beautiful day, and i think that is why Jacoby was so hyper in church we ended up just making it to Sacrament Meeting (We have many of those). Later that day while at my parents house we decided to take the kids on a walk in the wagon. Danielle, Jake, Tom, me, Coby, Zyanne, and Jaycie. Even though it was so beautiful outside it was still freaking freezing so we had to bundle the kids up in blankies, they didn't mind they love the wagon. We took a quick stroll around the block. I love having Sundays in Springville We had a blast. This last weekend was not as eventful. We stayed up in Layton and did some much needed shopping at Costco. Sunday we were unable to make it to our ward (AGAIN!) because i had a sick husband and daughter, seems like the sick never goes away!!! We enjoyed our time with each other at home but we are looking forward to this Mother's Day weekend in Springville with the fam. It is always a party at the Booth House!!!

Jacoby's 2nd Birthday

Last weekend we celebrated Coby's 2nd Birthday. For the past 4 months i have been watching Toy Story 1 and 2 everyday, he loves Buzz Lightyear, so i thought that would be the perfect theme for his party. It turned out so great. We ordered him some cute Buzz shirts and a 3 foot balloon of Buzz on Amazon and i luckily found some darling decorations and supplies at Zurchers. He was asleep while we decorated the house and blew up the million balloons so when he woke up he was so surprised.....his face was priceless, he just started running around looking at everything and saying Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! My talented cousin made the cake, a little one just for Coby and then about 48 cupcakes which we decorated with little Army men they were so cute! Tons of family and friends showed up,(Thank you everyone) We had great food and even greater entertainment with everything going on. Coby loved all of his presents but was especially excited about the Woody doll and Zurg doll he received (he slept with the zurg that night). We even shot a special little video for my sister and her family in England because they hate missing when we get together. Oh and the weather was so perfect, not to hot not to cold, it couldn't have been any better.

I can't believe that my baby is 2 already, the time just flies by and soon i will be wishing my Jaycie Happy 1st Birthday, it just blows me away. It really makes me savor every little thing that they do good or bad because before i know it they will be out and on their own. Happy Birthday Jacoby, Momma loves you!!! Muah!
